The Airbus A220-300 (formerly known as the Bombardier CS100), is a narrow-body airliner and a variant of the A220 family of aircraft. Originally designed by Bombardier, Airbus purchased the rights to the design and program back in 2017. The A220-300 is one of the smallest aircraft outside the regional category of aircraft and employs the unique seating style of two-aisles-three in economy class. The A220-300 is one of the most incredibly efficient aircraft of it's size designed with composite and light-weight materials and being equipped with fuel-efficient, geared, turbo fan engines. The A220-300 is the largest variant int he A2200 family. The A220 typically serves short, medium, and long haul routes that have low to medium demand.3
