The Airbus A320-200neo (New Engine Option), is a narrow-body airliner, second generation, successor to the original A320-200. The A320-200neo boasts new engines, amongst other improvements, and is continuing the popularity of it's predecessor and it's rivalry with the Boeing 737/737 MAX. The A320-200neo is almost identical in look and design as the 'ceo' option with the exception of the now standard wiglets and the look of the engine nacelles. The A320-200neo is in production with a large order backlog. It can serve short, medium, and long haul routes that have medium to high demand and can easily be interchanged on routes that are currently served by A320-200ceo aircraft or other aircraft in the 'ceo/neo' family. With this flexibility and improvements with the new design, airlines are quickly turning to the A320-200neo for the future of their narrow-body fleet.
