Airbus A380-800

The A380-800 is a multilevel wide-body aircraft and one of the largest aircraft in the world in terms of seating capacity. Most notable for its ‘double-deck’ or ‘second-level’, the A380 is the first passenger plane in the world to have two full levels of passenger seats. The A380 has four Engine Alliance or Pratt & Whitney turbofan engines and with the significant capacity, this aircraft has been used at congested airports as it can serve the equivalent of two flights in one. Conversely, airlines have used the upper level to be exclusively compromised of first class or business class seats or a mixture of the two. Etihad Airways is known to have installed two fully enclosed suites in the front of the upper level including a living space, washroom, and a bedroom. The A380 is still in production and is designed to operate on long routes with very high demand.
