Boeing 737-500/500(WL)

The Boeing 737-500 is a narrow-body airliner and a variant of the Boeing 737 Classic series. This variant, like other 737s in the Classic series, features upgraded turbofan engines however it's fuselage is almost exactly the same of the Boeing 737-200 making it possible for it to be a like-for-like replacement for the older variant. The Boeing 737-500 is the shortest and last variant produced in the Classic series and boasts slightly more range than it's series siblings. Like the rest of the series, it is no longer in production but it is still in service today. The Boeing 737-500 typically flies short to medium haul flights that have medium to high demand much like other 737s but it's smaller capacity and increased range allows it to also fly on longer or thinner routes where the demand is not as high.
