The Boeing 747-200F is a wide-body, freighter aircraft that is part of the 747 Family. The 747-200F is a freighter conversion of the 747-200 and is equipped with the distinct front/nose cargo door that swings up and forward allowing large cargo items to be fed straight into the aircraft. The 747-200F is one of the largest commercial freighters available and boasts decent range along with the large capacity. The 747-200F is no longer in production by the manufacturer but it could still be created through the conversion of a passenger 747-200 however due to the lack of inventory and the availability of newer more efficient cargo airplanes, such as the 747-400F, the 747-200F are no longer being created. Very few 747-200F are still flying with only a few operators.
