Embraer ERJ-175(LR/SU)

The Embraer 175 or ERJ-175 is a member of the Embraer E-Jet family of planes and was the second variant produced. It is larger then ERJ-170 but smaller then the ERJ-190/195. The Embraer 175 has a lower seat count but compliments that with decent range allowing for varied missions including regional operations or long-range flights on lower demand routes. It primarily competes with the CRJ and DHC-8 type of aircraft.

  • 'LR' denotes 'Long Range' which means the sub-variant has a higher Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) leading to greater range.
  • 'SU' denotes a special sub-variant that is identical tot he 'LR' but is limited to (76) passengers.
