McDonnell Douglas MD-90

The McDonnell Douglas MD-90 is the successor to the MD-80 family. It is very similar in terms of design, size, and capacity but benefits from newer, upgrades engines as well as improved systems. The MD-90 typically flew medium to long range routes with moderate to heavy demand. Like the MD-80 family, the MD-90 has been retired & replaced with more fuel efficient and/or higher capacity aircraft. The MD-90 was divided into two variants; the MD-90-30 which was the standard variant/version and the MD-90-30ER which benefited from an extended range.
