The Mitsubishi (formerly Bombardier) CRJ-700(ER) is the third variant of the 'CRJ' family of regional aircraft. It features a fuselage extension from the CRJ-100/200, as well as upgraded engines over the CRJ-100/200. The 'ER' sub-variant stands for 'Extended Range' meaning the aircraft can fly further then it's 'base' CRJ-700 sub-variant. The CRJ-700(ER) is no longer produced and was the third-best CRJ variant in terms of orders after the CRJ-900 and CRJ-200 respectively.
