The Mitsubishi (formerly Bombardier) CRJ-705 is a sub-variant of the 'CRJ' family of regional aircraft. It is identical in every aspect to the CRJ-900 with the CRJ-705's only difference being it's seating configuration. It includes First Class seating and is capped at a total of (75) seats to comply with certain Scope Clauses and/or Capacity Purchase Agreements (CPA). The CRJ-705 is considered to be a niche aircraft with most, if not all examples, being converted into standard CRJ-900 seating configurations.
