Airbus A330-200

The Airbus A330-200 is a wide-body aircraft and a variant of the A330 series. The A330-200 is tied with the Airbus A330-800 as the shortest variant in the series leading to reduced seating but makes up for it with increased range. The A330-200 is still in production but is being replaced by the A330-800 in the Airbus catalogue. This airplane can fly on high demand domestic and transcontinental routes but is typically used on long haul routes like transatlantic and transpacific routes. With the amount of seating and high range, this aircraft is also sometimes used on 'thin' routes were the distance is long but the demand is not high.
