Airbus A220-100

The Airbus A220-100 (formerly known as the Bombardier CS100), is a narrow-body airliner and the first variant of the A220 family of aircraft. Originally designed by Bombardier, Airbus purchased the rights to the design and program in 2017. The A220-100 is one of the smallest aircraft outside the regional category of aircraft and employs the unique seating style of two-aisle-three in economy class. The A220-100 is one of the most fuel efficient aircraft for it's size due to it's composite, light-weight materials and being equipped with fuel-efficient, geared, turbofan engines. The A220-100 is the smallest variant in the A220 family and it typically serves short, medium, and long haul routes that have low to medium demand.
