The 'Miscellaneous' manufacturer's page on PhotoHangar is a catch-all for aircraft that don't fall under the other eight manufacturers and don't have a large enough presence on the website to warrant it's own manufacturer page at this time.
The Avro RJ100 (formerly BAe 146-300) is the third variant of the family of regional aircraft. It features an atypical, over-fuselage wing along with four engines which is very unique to a regional turbofan aircraft. While a popular aircraft flying from the 1980's into the early 2000's, the aircraft no longer sees normal airline service with most of it's examples either retired/scrapped or used for charter services. The decline in use is mainly due to the economics of operating four engines compared to the modern day standard of two on regional aircraft. The Avro RJ100 typically flew short to medium routes with small to medium demand.
The Cessna 208 Caravan is a small, single engine, turbo-prop regional airliner. The 208B Grand Caravan variant can be configured to either carry passengers or cargo. While not seen in typical airline operations, the 208B Grand Caravan is popular for charter and/or tour operators along with the fright industry where it connects remote outposts to larger cargo processing hubs.
The Convair CV-580 is a twin-engine aircraft and a variant of the Convair CV-240 family of aircraft. The CV-580 is a conversion from either a CV-340 or CV-440, with the main change being upgraded turboprop engines in place of the original piston type engines. Original CV-580's were used for passenger service but as time passed they were either converted into freighters or specialized roles in either governments or militaries.
The Hawker Siddeley HS 748 (formerly Avro 748) is a twin-engine, turboprop aircraft. Designed in the 1950's and manufactured in the 1960's to 1980's, the HS 748 is an older aircraft design but robust enough to still have a few examples still in flying service. In it's prime, the HS 748 was used on short-to-medium range routes with low-to-medium demand.
The Saab 340 is a small, regional, turboprop aircraft designed by the Swedish manufacturer Saab. It is comparable to the ATR 42-500 and De Havilland Canada DHC-8-100 in terms of size and capacity and in it's prime, the Saab 340 was used on short-to-medium range routes with low-to-medium demand. Wile the majority of Saab 340's have been replaced with jets or newer turboprop aircraft, some examples still fly today with smaller airlines & operators.
The Tupolev Tu-204 is a twin-engine, turbofan, Russian aircraft designed to carry passengers, cargo, or a combination of the two. Seldomly seen or operated outside of Russian, Cuban, or North Korean airspace, this rather unique aircraft to the rest of the world was designed to be comparable in capabilities & specifications with the Boeing 757 while also sharing a very similar look as well.
