The Airbus A220-300 (formerly known as the Bombardier CS300), is a narrow-body airliner and the second variant of the A220 family of aircraft. Originally designed by Bombardier, Airbus purchased the rights to the design and program in 2017. The A220-300, like the A220-100, employs the unique seating style of two-aisle-three in economy class. The A220-300 is one of the most fuel efficient aircraft for it's size due to it's composite, light-weight materials and being equipped with same geared style, turbofan engines as the A220-100. The A220-300 is the largest variant in the A220 family and typically serves short, medium, and long haul routes that have low to medium demand.
